Mr. Taiwo Adesina Joda is the Managing Director/CEO of Accion MfB. He leads the Bank in its Mission to deliver value and the best of results to its customers, and shareholders. He is responsible for all aspects of Accion MFB’s business strategy, team and operations.

Ugochi Okafor is the Head, Human Resources of Accion MfB.
Ndubuisi Pantelion Onuoha is our Ag. Chief Commercial Officer. He oversees the Bank&CloseCurlyQuotes;s deposit and value chain business of the Bank.
Stephen Olalere is the Head, Risk Control & Compliance. He oversees the Bank’s Corporate Compliance and Audit functions and ensures that his unit functions as an independent and objective body, by regularly reviewing and evaluating compliance issues/concerns within the organization.
Emeka Uzowulu is our Head of Business Banking and Up Country. He spearheads the development and implementation of the Bank’s National expansion strategy and all aspects business development in the new markets.
Daniel Ofoleta heads the Information Technology department of the bank. He manages the bank’s IT infrastructure, service and resources.
Taiwo Joda is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in leading teams, strategy formulation, banking and managing digital transformation programs to achieve financial inclusion objectives. He is also certified by the John Maxwell Team as a people trainer, coach, mentor and speaker.
He holds a B.Sc. degree in Finance and Banking from the University of Lagos and a Master's degree in Finance and Banking from the same university. He is an Alumnus of Said Business School, Oxford University.
Taiwo is a Member, Institute of Directors - M(IOD), Fellow Nigeria Institute of Management (FNIM), Fellow Board African Fellowship on Financial Inclusion, Fellow Business Process Management Institute of Nigeria, Honorary Senior Member Chartered Institute of Bankers (HCIB) and Microfinance Certified Practitioner (MCP).
Mr. Joda currently serves as a member of several committees including the Steering Committee - National Microfinance Platform, National Association of Microfinance Bank Advocacy group, and heads the advisory board of Microfinance Learning and Development Center. Taiwo is a Member - Governing Council, FinTech Association of Nigeria and the NASSBER working group of The National Economic Summit Group (NESG).
He has attended several top management programs both locally and internationally including Lagos Business School, Nigeria, INSEAD, France and Euro money both in UK and Singapore.
An inspirational leader; Taiwo is respected as a credible voice in driving advocacy, capacity building, a win-win mental approach and strategic partnerships in the Microfinance and Digital Finance ecosystem. He has excellent leadership skills and continually mentors young professionals.
He has won several awards and recognition including the Leadership Financial Inclusion Award.
Daniel Ofoleta is the Head Information Technology of the Accion Microfinance Bank. He began his career with Neptune software Plc. as a Senior Analyst Programmer.
Mr. Daniel has over 16 years of achievements in leveraging modern technology to drive digital transformation, organizational growth, performance, and profitability. He joined Accion MfB in 2018 as Head, Information Technology to manage the Bank's IT infrastructure, services and resources.
In 2006, he joined Bank PHB Plc. as a Software Development Manager with overall responsibility for architecture, design, technical requirements, and solutions development. Prior to Joining the Accion Microfinance Bank 2018, he had been working with Keystone Bank which he joined in 2010, as Enterprise Architect with technical expertise in Enterprise Architecture Frameworks, Virtualization & Cloud computing, Digital Channels & Collaboration Technologies, Networking & Database Technologies and Project Management.
Daniel acquired MBA degree from University of Lagos in 2015 and a B.Sc. in Computer Science in 2002 at University of Nigeria Nsukka, Nigeria. Further, he has attended various trainings & workshops in many countries such as Dubai, UAE, South Africa, UK and Nigeria also bags certifications from top technology companies.
Mr. Adeola Adebisi is the Chief Financial Officer of Accion Microfinance Bank.
He joined Accion MfB in 2020 as the Chief Finance Officer of the Bank. He began his career in 1993 at PricewaterhouseCoopers as Auditor later moved to Fortune Bank as Head Field Audit & Investigation then to Heirs Insurance (UBA Insurance) as Chief Control Officer/Head Compliance. He also worked with Conoil Plc., SNL Nigeria and Merit Professionals.
Adeola is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, an Associate of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants United Kingdom (ACMA) and also an Associate of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACIT) with more than 26 years' working experience, his varied experience spans across the Financial Services industry, Oil & Gas and one of the big ‘4’.
He is highly skilled with a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from University of Lagos.
Dr. Femi Oyenuga is the Chief Digital Officer of Accion Microfinance Bank.
Dr. Femi Oyenuga is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in planning,
consulting, operations, team leadership and management of Complex digital transformation programmes.
He joined Accion MfB in 2020 with over 22 years' experience. He started his career as a Customer Intelligence/Informatics Manager with Camden & Islington NHS PCT UK in 2002
and spent more than nine years in the MTN Group where he played various roles including Head, Enterprise Information Management, architecture planning respectively
He is a member of Data Science Nigeria, Fintech Association, National Computer Science Association, Nigeria Medical & Dental association and a global Conference speaker. He has attended several international workshops and conferences
including the Global World Telecom Conference, Barcelona, Spain, London and Data Science Modelling, Las Vegas, USA.
He is erudite and highly skilled with a Bachelor of Surgery/ B.CH. D(hons), a Masters in Bioengineering from the prestigious Imperial College London, Executive Management certificates from Harvard Business School USA, Lagos business school.
Femi is a member of many clubs in Lagos and Europe, an avid cyclist, loves culture. He speaks Spanish and enjoys to travel and read.
Mrs Ugochi Okafor is the Head, Human Resources of Accion Microfinance Bank.
Ugochi is a highly experienced and multi-skilled Human Capital Management Professional with over 20 years of outstanding success in HR Strategy Development and Implementation,
Talent and Career Management, Talent and Performance Management, Organization Design, Recruitment, Enterprise Business Solutions (ERP) Implementation,
Process re-engineering and Change Management for a diverse range of organizations.
She possesses deep cross-functional and cross-industry experience spanning Oil and Gas, Financial Institutions, FMCG, IT and has worked extensively in HR both as a Consultant and in Operational capacity.
She began her career as an Analyst in Accenture Nigeria, where she spent more than eight years delivering value in several projects across varied industries, practice lines and continents. She also worked in Human Capital consulting practice of Akintola Williams Deloitte and spent more than six years in United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc where she led and performed various roles in the HCM department.
She has a B. Sc. degree in Accountancy from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (Enugu Campus) and is a certified Global Professional in HR (GPHR) of the Human Resource Certification Institute.
Mr. Ndubuisi Pantelion Onuoha is the Ag. Chief Commercial Officer of Accion Microfinance Bank.
He joined Accion MfB in 2018 as Head, Savings, Partnerships & Value Chain Businesses where he oversaw the deposit mobilization and value chain business of the Bank.
With over 22 years' experience in Banking and related Financial Services, covering retail, consumer, SME, credit analyses, and sales of electronic banking channels, he began his career as a credit/marketing Officer with the then Progress Bank of Nigeria Finance & Trust Company Ltd and later moved to Maxi Fund Investment & Securities Ltd as the Manager in charge of Finance & Investments. In December 2000, he moved over to Liberty Bank Plc. as a Credit/Marketing Officer before joining Fidelity Bank Plc. in February 2002 where he spent over 16 years and functioned in several roles including Branch management and Head of various head office units.
Ndubuisi has attended various trainings & workshops locally and abroad including International Trade Finance (Euro Money UK), Credit Analysis Masterclass (H Pierson & Associates), Retail Banking Growth and Profit (Fleming Gulf India) India, Retail Banking Strategy (Jeff & O'Brien South Africa), Business to Business & Business to Consumer Sales (ReCH Management Centre, Dubai), amongst others.
He holds an HND in Finance & Banking, B.Sc. in Economics, MBA in Management, and M.Sc. in Corporate Governance (UK) and a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (FCIB).
Stephen Olalere is an experienced banker with over seventeen (17) years' experience in banking. He joined Accion MfB in 2011 as Head of Audit and currently oversees Compliance & Audit Assurance functions in the bank. Prior to moving into this role, Stephen supervised the Operations Group in Accion MfB for a period of four (4) years. He was overseeing management of the bank's Savings portfolio, Branch Operations, E-banking Operations, Centralised Loan Processing Operations, Procurement Services as well as Admin & Facilities Support Services.
Previously, Stephen had worked in Control functions roles while in Oceanic Bank (now Ecobank) during his five (5) years stay in the bank. He also managed Operations and Audit responsibilities while in Eagle Bank Limited. Stephen is versed in bank compliance, controls, risk management and audit. He has attended several courses both locally and internationally including a programme at the prestigious Harvard Business School in the US and exposure training at BanCompartir (Fin America) in Bogota, Colombia. Stephen is a Fellow of ICAN and holds an MBA in Finance.
Emeka Uzowulu is the Head, Business Banking Up-Country Accion Microfinance Bank. He spearheads the development and implementation of the Bank's National expansion strategy and all aspects of business development in the new markets. He joined Accion MfB in August, 2008 as Commercial Manager, overseeing Areas & Branch Managers, builds strategy to drive organizational growth, performance and profitability. He was Head, Business & Product Development for the period of 3 years, conduct research on the Banks Product strategic on new product initiatives.
Prior to joining Accion Microfinance Bank, Emeka had worked with Citizen Bank Plc., Liberty Bank Plc., as Marketing Executive and later joined Complete Trust Microfinance Bank, Susu Microfinance Bank as Regional Manager and Mayfield Microfinance Bank as top Management Executive.
Emeka holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, MBA in Financial Management, a Certified Microfinance Banker (MCIB), and Member Nigeria Institute of Management; He has attended several courses both local and international, ILO/Accion Ghana, including a program at the prestigious Harvard Business School in the US. He has over 25 years' experience in financial services delivery in both Corporate and retail banking with 11 years in Commercial banking and 15 years on Microfinance business out of which 11 years have been at Executive Management level.
Robert Lule Magala is an inclusive finance expert with two decades of experience in the financial inclusion sector across Africa. He specializes in value chain assessment, financial services market research, product development and branding. Mr. Magala brings extensive knowledge of inclusive digital finance and housing finance, as well as more than five years of combined experience in reviewing, evaluating and conducting field research in the inclusive finance sector. Currently working with Accion International and seconded to Accion MfB Nigeria as Resident Advisor Commercial Branch expansion, Mr. Magala has supported Accion MfB to implement its branch expansion and brand development strategies. Previously, he worked with MicroSave, as a Senior Analyst, where he provided technical assistance to various initiatives that included housing microfinance for improved financial inclusion using a market development approach, as well as agricultural value chain based product development and Digital Financial Services initiatives. He has done consulting work with Ayani Inclusive Finance Consultants that have included but not limited to affordable housing finance market studies in Sri Lanka, Kenya and Uganda; and Evaluation of Agency banking banking projects in Tanzania. He spent several years of his career at FINCA Uganda, an affliate of FINCA International where he established the Sales and Marketing department.
He has championed a number of new product initiatives the enabled him work with renowned development partners such as SEEP, Youthstart by UNCDF, Gates Foundation and Innovation for Povert Action IPA. He holds a Bachelors of Commerce in Marketing from Makerere University Kampala, Uganda. He also holds a Diploma in Marketing of Services from Maastricht School of Management, Netherlands.
