World Environment Day Cleaning

Through our Brighta Minds Initiative, we supported pupils of Aiyetoro Primary School in Akoka with textbooks, storybooks, and essential learning materials - giving young learners the tools to dream bigger and learn better.

Accion Microfinance Bank extended its commitment to women’s empowerment through a health-focused outreach in Ikotun, where over 100 women received free medical checks and wellness guidance. The initiative provided a meaningful platform to support women’s well-being and ensure they have access to essential health information and care.

To commemorate World Environment Day, the Accion Microfinance Bank team took part in a market cleanup exercise focused on reducing plastic waste in one of the busiest local markets. Markets are known hotspots for single-use plastics, and this initiative demonstrated how collective effort can create meaningful impact.
