Bunmi Lawson possesses a master’s degree in Business Administration from the IESE Business School, University of Neverra, an alumnus of the Lagos Business School and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.

She also holds an HND Accounting Certificate from the Yaba College of Technology, graduating with a first class. In addition, she has attended several courses, both locally and internationally, at renowned institutions including Harvard Business School and INSEAD.

She has over 18 years working experience in various industries spanning SME business development, Finance, Marketing, Insurance, Consulting and Banking.

Oran Njeza is the Chief Operating Officer of Accion Microfinance Bank Limited (AMfB). He joined AMfB in January 2011. He is responsible for the Operations, Risk Management, Facilities Management, Branches expansion and Administration Departments of the bank. In the interlude, Mr. Njeza supports the Information and Communication Technology department of the Bank.

Mr. Njeza has over 25 years management experience in commercial and retail banking in Africa, of which 18 years has been at executive management level with specific experience in finance, treasury operations, retail banking and general banking operations management. Prior to joining AMfB, Mr. Njeza was a member of the executive management of NMB Plc in Tanzania and also served as a head of finance and operations at TDFL and Stanbic Bank Tanzania.

Mr. Njeza holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and is an alumnus of INSEAD Business School and University of South Africa (UNISA). Mr. Njeza is a PhD candidate and his areas of research include the small and medium entrepreneurship in developing countries; market segmentation and competitive market structure analysis; cross-cultural issues in global product diffusion; and the microfinance balance of a corporate social responsibility and corporate strategy.

Nwanna Joel-Ezeugo previously worked as Group Head - Treasury Operations, Financial Control & Strategic Planning, and Banking Operations in various financial institutions. Her banking experience, which started at Fidelity Union Merchant Bank Limited in April 1989, spans 20 years. She was the Group Head, Financial Control, Accounts and ICT of Akwa Savings & Loans Limited where she implemented and launched a successful ATM banking platform through a corresponding bank. Nwanna is a 1987 Graduate of Accountancy (B.Sc. Hons) from Imo State University, Uturu (now Abia State University) and has an MBA in Banking & Finance from ESUT Business School, Lagos (2003). She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1990; Member, Nigeria Institute of Management (Chartered); Associate Member –Chartered Institute of Taxation and Associate Member – Chartered Institute of Pension. Nwanna has been trained extensively both locally and internationally with major focus on banking applications and customer service.

Promise Nwankwo graduated from the University of Nigeria, Enugu campus with a B.Sc in Accountancy. He also has an MBA in Finance from the same university. He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN). His previous work experience, which spans over 25 years, includes Head of Finance, Rims Merchant bank and NAL Bank Plc as a key member of a restructuring team put in place to reposition the Bank in 1996. He worked in various strategic departments of the bank as Head of Financial Control, Strategic Planning, Treasury operations, and Northern Area Operations. He also worked as the CEO/Principal Consultant in JSP Resources Management Ltd & JSP Consult; Head of Compliance and Internal Control in Oak Pensions Ltd; and later Head of Investment Management of the same organization.

Emmanuel Michael is the Head, Human Resources of Accion Microfinance Bank Limited (AMfB). He joined AMfB in January 2011. He leads and drives the Human Resources function of AMfB to achieve business objectives.

Mr. Michael has over 14 years management experience, of which 8 has been at executive management level in various industries spanning multidisciplinary engineering, information technology and hospitality. Prior to joining AMfB, Mr. Michael served as Country Human Resources Manager at African Sun Hotels Group and an executive member of the Regional Team, Director of Human Resources at Sheraton Abuja, Director of Human Resources at Le Meridien Abuja (brands of Starwood Hotel & Resorts Worldwide), and Administration Manager at Integrated Systems Solutions Limited.

Mr. Michael holds a certificate in Strategic Human Resources Management from the prestigious School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University (an Ivy League school), and an alumnus of Management Centre Europe, as well as being a Professional Member of the Society for Human Resources Management. Mr. Michael is currently pursuing an MBA with specialization in Employee Relations at University of Leicester.

Kehinde Olalere currently heads Internal Audit of Accion Microfinance Bank Limited (AMfB). He joined AMfB in March 2011 and is responsible for Audit and Investigation department of the bank.

He has over 10 years experience in commercial, retail and microfinance banking in Nigeria, out of which 2 years have been at executive management level with specific experience in Audit, Internal Control, risk management and general banking operations. Prior to joining AMfB, Kehinde had worked with Oceanic Bank Plc for a period of five years before joining Fina Trust Microfinance Bank as Head of Compliance & Risk Management.

Kehinde, an Associate of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and He is married with children.

‘Tunde Omolere currently heads Internal Control & Compliance of Accion Microfinance Bank Limited (AMfB). He joined AMfB in November 2011 and has the responsibility to ensure compliance with policies and procedures of the Bank as well as all legal and regulatory framework of the Bank’s supervisory body.

‘Tunde has over 9 years experience in commercial, retail, mortgage and microfinance banking in Nigeria, of which 3 years has been at executive management level with specific experience in operations, finance, control, risk management and general banking. Prior to joining AMfB, ‘Tunde worked with Wema Bank Plc, Intercontinental Bank plc in Internal Control and Compliance and was a member of the executive management of Global Trust Savings & Loans Ltd a mortgage banking institution (subsidiary of IGI plc) and had also served as Managing Director of Crowned Eagle Microfinance Bank Ltd, Lagos.

‘Tunde holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree and an Associate Member of Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN). He is married with children.

Gift Mahubo is the Chief Information Officer for Accion Microfinance Bank (AMfB). In this role, he is responsible for deploying and managing of technology to support the business strategy of AMfB.

Mr. Mahubo comes to Accion Microfinance Bank with 15 years of experience of managing Information Communication Technology in the financial sector and ICT service industry. He has worked as the Technical Services Director of Compulink Holding (Pvt) Limited, as the Director of Information Technology at Kingdom Financial Holdings Limited, and most recently as the Head of Information Communication Technology at MBCA Bank Limited.

Mr. Mahubo holds an Executive Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Engineering – Electronic Engineering from the National University of Science and Technology (Zimbabwe). He is a Prince2 Certified Project Practitioner, and is also a Certified Novell Engineer and a Microsoft Product Specialist.
